On Friday, Ghanaian defender Patric Pfeiffer scored his first goal for German club Darmstadt.
He scored in a tense Bundesliga II match against Hamburger SV at the Volksparkstadion in Hamburg.
After four minutes, Pfeiffer scored, and Darmstadt doubled their lead through striker Phillip Tietz.
Hamburger’s consolation goal came from Ghana forward Ransford-Yeboah Konigsdorffer.
Three players were sent off in the game, including Ransford-Yeboah, for a nasty challenge.
In 2019, Pfeiffer, 23, relocated from Hamburg to Darmstadt. He celebrated his goal against his previous squad by doing a knee slide.
